Canal house Prinsengracht 175

Canal house Prinsengracht 175

The Prinsengracht is a well-known canal in Amsterdam. The canal is named after the Prince of Orange and is the third of the three main canals in Amsterdam. Together, the canals were an expansion project in the 17th century. After completion of the project the city of Amsterdam has grown tremendously. The prestigious canal houses of the Prinsengracht inspired Royal Goedewaagen in creating a miniature version of the “Prinsengracht” consisting of six parts. The canal houses can be purchased independently, which makes it suitable as ultimate collector items.
