Miniature palace “Noordeinde”

Miniature palace “Noordeinde”

In 1813 palace Noordeinde became property of the state. The palace, located in The Hague, was a temporary shelter for the royal family throughout the years. After years of renovating palace Noordeinde became the work palace in 1984. Firstly princess Beatrix used this palace as her work spot and nowadays His Majesty King Willem-Alexander is using palace Noordeinde as his work spot. Therefore the palace is not open to public visits. Royal Goedewaagen created ceramic miniatures of the different palaces in the Netherlands, which are traditionally hand-painted in Blue Delft or Polychrome.
